We work directly in and with the communities that handcraft our products, supporting the artisans we collaborate with to remain, and work, within the villages their craft has originated from for many generations.
With the provision of flexible working hours that support their family and cultural responsibilities, and a living wage that's over twice the national average, we're delighted that the artisans and communities we are collaborating with are thriving.
LONG-TERM LIVELIHOODS
We value the people and skills behind each item we create, not only the item itself. With the addition of complimentary skills training, we encourage long-term self-sufficiency that supports sustainable livelihoods for both existing and next generation artisans.
Our unique code system links every item we create to the individual artisan who handcrafted it, empowering each artisan to take direct responsibility for, and enormous pride in, their work. This autonomy encourages a joyful, respectful and nurturing working dynamic for us all.
